Rauhofer Cancels Appearances

Citing the same breathing problems that forced him to abbreviate his set at The Roxy during last weekend’s NY Pride celebration, DJ/Producer Peter Rauhofer yesterday issued a formal statement cancelling his hotly anticipated appearance at this weekend’s San Francisco Pride festivities.

According to his statement, the Grammy Award-winning DJ/producer has been grounded by his doctors, who forbid him to fly until he’s made a full recovery.

"You know if I am not well enough to play my Pride events, the biggest events of the year, something has to be wrong!" Rauhofer writes.

"However, I have arranged for my close friend and fellow Star 69 DJ/producer, Offer Nissim, to fly all the way from Tel Aviv, Israel to come and play for you in San Francisco. Offer Nissim is an amazing DJ and producer. You will have heard me play many of his tracks like "Searching" and "First Time" in my sets. Offer also recently played alongside me at this year’s Black Party in NYC.I know Offer Nissim and Matinee resident Luke Johnstone will put on an amazing show for you guys - so please come out and show your support."

Jasper's Song Of The Week

Hello ladies, and welcome back to another rousing edition of the song of the week. Now I know there hasn’t been a song of the week for the past month, but I had to take some time off due to work and life getting in the way. The winner this week is our very own D.J. Eric B with his revamp of Chris Cox's (who I might add is a freaking bad ass DJ/Producer and I had the distinct honor of seeing him perform live at south beach here in Houston) So Deep. In a unique style that is becoming one of the key trademarks of his style, Eric takes an already well-done song and he tweaks it. He adds beats and he layers those beats over parts that one might say are not as strong in the beat section. Eric manages very well I think the new dropout of the song. He also takes the start and the end of the song and keeps them hard driving and moving. Eric likes to keep his songs fast and moving all the while never disrupting the original feel and sound of the song. He knows what works well with his sets and the crowds he plays for. So ladies, that’s all for this week, be sure to check back next for a new song of the week, and since its June, remember to support the local pride events in your community and always play safe. Stay Fabulous, Jasper
Download it Now

Jaspers song of the week

Song of the 4 days
Well ladies, sorry for the delay in the song of the week, but life just keeps getting in the way and as such this will be a short article this week. So I know all of yall are just dying to know what this weeks song is and the winner is: Madonna - Isaac (Offer Nissim Rx). And yes, I know, Offer won this award a few weeks ago, but he just keeps putting out the hits. This remix of Isaac is surely to become another club classic. Offer has taken care to maintain the ancient sound of the original song. Offer has one again proven that he is king of the tribal sound. Well ladies, that’s all for this week, be sure to check back in next week for a brand new (on time also) Song of the week
Be fabulous,
Jasper Download it Now

Jasper's Song of the Week

How Would U Feel?
Well ladies, its Monday and ya'll know what that means!! It's time for the song of the week. And the winner this week goes to David Morales - How Would You Feel by Peter Rauhofer. This is a remake of the classic romantic love song done by David Morales a few years back. And I must say that I am slightly biased towards this song because it’s the song I want to get married to (A girl can dream cant she?). The original mix was my favorite club song of all time, and now Peter has taken it and made it even hotter. The melody is moving and it soars and makes you want to grab the boy next to you and make out. Peter Rauhofer has taken a classic and made it even more moving and hypnotic by tweaking the underdone of the main beats and adding a more refined and modern synthesizer melody. He has also managed to keep that dark underground feel that is he famous for. It’s slick and has edge while maintaining the same basic melody underneath it that made this song famous in the first place. Ladies, this new mix will surely become one of the songs that will still be played years from now. With talent like this Peter will surly keep giving us these awesome beats and remixes for years to come. Stay fabulous, Jasper
Download it Now
